ADSORPTION STUDY OF HYDRODESULPHURIZATION CATALYST

Physical and chemical adsorption analyses were carried out by nitrogen gas using ASTM apparatus at 77 Kand hydrogen volumetric room temperature respectively. These used fordetermination the effect of coke deposition poisoning metal on surface area, pore size distribution andmetal area fresh spent hydrodesulphurization catalyst Co-Mo\Al2O3 .Samples (fresh spent) in this study are taken from AL-Dura refinery.The results physical shows that reduced to third compare withfresh these catalysts exhibit behavior type four according BET classification ,so, poresof samples cylindrical, pores suffers during .The result is 50.72 m2/g while itreduced 39.04 for catalyst.
